A very Happy New Year to all our clients and park users.

With the festivities behind us, we are looking forward to 2024 with excitement and anticipation.

Our parks don’t always look their best at this time of year, but the bare beds and muddy lawns (yes, it’s been raining a bit recently) are getting ready for the spring and summer to come – with some help from our award-winning gardening team.   With a programme of re-turfing and overseeding scheduled for March, our grass will be greening up nicely for the warmer days ahead.   We also have some exciting plans for refreshing our planted beds – removing weeds and over-dominant species, redistributing some plants and introducing some new ones.   We’ll keep you posted as our plans develop over the next few months.

We’re talking to a number of event organisers about plans for the summer and beyond,  so look out for news about what’s coming up later in the year.   We’re always happy to discuss any event ideas, so please get in touch.

In the meantime, if you’re seeking a playground for children, a brisk winter walk with the dog, or somewhere to sit and enjoy a hot chocolate from a local takeaway, our parks are for all seasons and all ages.    We hope you enjoy your visit and wish you a peaceful and happy 2024.
