Winter by the River

Our neighbours at London Bridge City have announced the much-anticipated return of Winter by the River, a spellbinding winter festival set to captivate visitors. From 12th November 2024 – 5th January 2025, the banks of the River Thames will become a glittering festive escape for all ages.

You can indulge in seasonal treats with a touch of flair, whilst you meander through a labyrinth of bustling market stalls, each one a treasure trove of artisanal crafts, unique gifts, and seasonal delicacies. From luxury offerings and bespoke gifts to ‘gifts for good’ in partnership with social enterprises, the assorted market offers the perfect opportunity to find that special something for your loved ones.

Enjoy the magic of winter along London’s most famous riverside at two pop-up bars, The Glasshouse and Little Glasshouse, with their panoramic views, festive ambience, and unique experiences for all, including paint and sip, wreath making, cocktail masterclasses, gingerbread decoration, Christmas ornament decoration, festive trivia night, Christmas singalong night and wine tasting!

And, new for 2024, London Bridge City Pier will be home to Swift Stone, a pop-up curling experience! Challenge your friends, family, or colleagues on specially designed curling lanes inside a glass-enclosed venue, where lanes can accommodate up to eight people.
