Potters Fields Park
The Poetry Takeaway
03 October to 04 October 2020
We are delighted to host The Poetry Takeaway, presented by Team London Bridge, in the lead-up to World Mental Health Day.
The Poetry Takeaway, with its network of poets and writers, serves high quality, personalised poetry to diners, written, performed and wrapped up to take away. A diverse group of poet chefs is at the heart of The Poetry Takeaway, along with the people they meet, the stories they share, how they tell them and the amazing places in which they find themselves.
If you want to feed body as well as mind, pick up a coffee or a snack from one of the many cafes and restaurants near the Park, take a break, come for a chat and watch the magic happen, as a special poem is written just for you!
“We’re very excited to be working in such an iconic part of our city with Team London Bridge on this outdoor event for World Mental Health Day. We guarantee tears, laughter and everything in between”
Head Chef at The Poetry Takeaway.
Social distancing/Covid-safe measures will be in place – please comply with any instructions from our team.
If you can’t get to the Park at the weekend, you can also catch The Poetry Takeaway on Mon 5 and Tues 6 October 2020, 12noon – 4 pm at Kings College/Guy’s Hospital, Collingwood Street (off Great Maze Pond).
Supported by Team London Bridge with Potters Fields Park Management Trust, Guy’s Hospital and King’s College London.
