What's On
STRA Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration
Times are shown below
We love it when local people get together on our parks and, over the weekend, residents from Shad Thames Residents’ Association (STRA) and Fair Community Housing Services will be enjoying a neighbourhood Jubilee celebration on Potters Fields Park.
Although there will be a residents-only area, there will still be plenty for everyone to enjoy. As well as the music and atmosphere from the community get-together, this special Bank Holiday weekend will see the return of the big red Pimm’s Teapot on Lawn 2, so you can get your fill of traditional Pimm’s and non-alcoholic fruity lemonade while you take in our breath-taking views. The bar will be open to everyone from 11.00 daily from Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th June. Cheers!
There will also be a very special show for everyone by The Let’s Grow Vegetable Nannies on Sunday June 5th.
The Let’s Grow Vegetable Nannies are two eccentric gardeners who are out for a special Jubilee day trip with their family of little ones. So if you see an old pram brimming with some beautiful bouncing baby fruits and vegetables, come over and say hello! No doubt the nannies could use a hand with feeding and taking care of all their adorable babies.
