Great British Spring Clean 3rd & 4th March

Potters Fields Park Trust is organising two Great British Spring Clean events from the park this year. They will take place on Friday 3rd & Saturday 4th March, 11.00 – 14.00, starting from outside Fratellis Cafe on Potters Fields Park.

We need lots of willing volunteers to help clear up the area so for information and to get involved please contact us here.

The Great British Spring Clean is a campaign with one simple ambition. To bring together people from across the country to clear up the litter that blights our towns, villages, countryside and coastline.

Through March 2017, the GB Spring Clean team want to inspire 500,000 people to get outdoors, get active and help clear up the rubbish that lies around us. You’ll join an ever growing band of people who have had enough of other people’s litter, are willing to donate their time to help clear it up and want to see an end to littering.

Christmas carols, lights & lanterns

Monday 5th December at 4.30pm.

We will again be hosting a Christmas lighting event on the park in conjunction with Team London Bridge and More London Estate. This will be followed by carols and a lantern parade to Hay’s Galleria.

We would welcome everyone in the local area to come and join us to celebrate the beginning of the festive period and see the lighting of our trees by City Hall.

If you’d like to attend please let us know on the link below. It’s not compulsory to have a ticket to attend but very useful for us to have an idea of numbers.

The Trust will also be running workshops with children from Tower Bridge Primary and Snowsfields Primary schools in the run-up to design and create lanterns for the event. These will be proudly on display so please join us to see the kids great work.
