Big Thanks Big Picnic

A big thank you to everyone who attended and took part in our Big Picnic Community festival at the weekend. Special thanks to all our great stall holders, entertainers and musicians who performed on the stage.

The main purpose of the Big Picnic is to bring the local community and Londoners together over a shared picnic. To meet new people and discover local business and organisations. Each year we hope to grow the event to get even more people involved. If you have any feedback we’d love to here from you on info@pottersfields.co.uk.

The Big Picnic Festival

Taking place Sunday 18th June on Potters Fields Park and St John’s Churchyard, this family friendly community festival is not to be missed.

The event is a chance for local residents and Londoners to come together and meet their neighbours over shared picnics. It is held on the same day as the nationwide Big Lunch event and is all about community and fun.

This year there will be a stage hosting local busker acts and performers. There will be lots of stalls with food and drinks and workshops from local social enterprises. We will have face and henna painters and a Punch & Judy stand. Spitafields City Farm will be there with some friendly farm animals for people to meet. There will also be a Pimms stall and Cider tent on the front lawn, for people to sit back in deck chairs, relax and enjoy the beautiful view from the park.

You can find out more on our Big Picnic event page.
